Lincoln Boys Choir to Host Inaugural "Come to the Music" Elementary Vocal Honors Festival

LINCOLN, NE – The Lincoln Boys Choir is excited to announce the launch of its first-ever all-expenses-paid elementary vocal honors festival, “Come to the Music,” supported by a Nebraska Arts Council mini-grant and additional private donations. This exciting event will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Saint Paul United Methodist Church (1144 M Street, Lincoln, NE 68508) from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The festival is free for all 3rd–5th grade students.

The festival provides a unique opportunity for young singers to experience a large ensemble setting in a non-audition-based format. It aims to prepare participants for future community ensembles and honor choirs such as the Elementary All-State Chorus, All-City Girls Chorus, or Lincoln Boys Choir, while also strengthening school choir programs.

Highlights of the event include:

  • Professional Instruction: Students will work directly with the Lincoln Boys Choir directors, Eric Wyler and Andrew Seuferer.
  • Performance Opportunity: Participants will perform alongside current Lincoln Boys Choir members (Noteworthy & Vocal Point) in a celebratory concert.
  • All-Inclusive Event: Music, snacks, recognition pins, and certificates will be provided at no cost to participants. No pre-teaching of the material is required.

Registration Details:
Music teachers are invited to register their 3rd–5th grade students by February 28, 2025, using the following link: Google Registration Form. There is currently no cap on registration, though any changes will be communicated via email and social media.
